I first met Mr Pal when I was only a few weeks out from my wedding – at this time I was in a lot of pain, barely sleeping and had been experiencing pain for probably best part of 3 years but putting it down to working at a desk or sleeping ‘funny’. Hearing the outcome of my MRI was quite daunting as a 30 year old and something I was not expecting.

My first appointment post results of the MRI with Mr Pal did result in him suggesting surgery as it may be the only way to help due to the length of time and the symptoms I was now getting - however being only 4 weeks out from my wedding I didn’t have time for this but wanted to be pain free or at least reduced for the wedding day and my honeymoon.

As soon as I made Mr Pal aware of this he was straight on the phone to another consultant whom he asked to help me in the short term by getting me booked in for the steroid injection. I will be forever grateful to Mr Pal for this as I was pain free for both my wedding day and honeymoon. However not long after that (as we both expected) the pain, pins and needles and numbness soon returned and Mr Pal suggested the ACDF surgery – and we got this booked in as soon as possible.

To say I wasn’t nervous would be a lie – but from beginning to end Mr Pal has put me at ease and always ensured I had the full picture of what to expect be it pre, during and post surgery.

I am currently 5 weeks post-surgery and the numbness in my fingers has improved drastically, I’ve experienced no pins and needles and the pain I was previously experiencing has subsided beyond belief. I am so grateful to Mr Pal and would recommend him to anyone experiencing the same issues I had myself.
