Having sustained a head and neck injury when diving into a pool abroad, I was told by the foreign doctors that there was no serious damage. On my return I attended A & E as I was in such pain. The CT scan revealed two fractured vertebrae. I was referred to Mr Pal who recommend possible surgery. Following a further X-ray it transpired that the vertebrae had moved so immediate surgery was undertaken. Mr Pal and his team were fantastic at all stages of the process. I felt totally reassured by his expertise and the detail of his explanation of the required surgery. I was up walking in the afternoon following surgery. Now ten weeks on I am receiving physio and well on the way to a full recovery. I would like to thank Mr Pal and his team and have no hesitation whatsoever in reassuring anyone under his care that you are in the best hands possible.
