My name is Michael.

After an accident at work, I experienced severe pain in my lower back. Within a couple of weeks from the accident my leg collapsed, resulting in an ambulance ride to the hospital and loss of feeling in my right leg. After weeks of pain I was referred to Mr Pal at Nuffield Health Leeds. He diagnosed that discs L2/3 + L3/4 needed a procedure called a spinal fusion.

Due to Covid-19 and social restrictions, Mr Pal explained the procedure via a Zoom meeting. Answering all queries and concerns that myself and my wife had. Two weeks later I was booked in for the two-part operation. The operation was a success and I am now on the road to recovery.

I would highly recommend Mr Pal and his team. He is a fantastic spinal surgeon with great bedside manner. The hospital staff at Nuffield Health Leeds were brilliant and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was good too!
