For over 3 years I had experienced increasingly severe pain in my lower back and right leg, eventually limiting my walking ability to 50-100 yards.

I had received several courses of physiotherapy and a steroid injection which had proved ineffective.

I consulted Mr Deb Pal in August 2023. He immediately understood my problem and arranged several appropriate investigations, X-rays and MRI scan. These confirmed progressive spinal stenosis and instability in my lower lumbar spine.

In February 2024, Mr Pal operated performing a lumbar laminectomy, spinal decompression and fixation of my lower lumbar vertebrae L4 & L5. I was immediately relieved of my pain and made a rapid and complete recovery.

Now, 4 months later, I have returned to normal activities and feel incredibly well.
